Slight sugary aroma and soft foam on top of yellow orange. Flavour is crispbread, grain hints. Dry finish. Serviceable blonde ale and nothing more. Bottle from Bill's restaurant.

Bottle at Bill’s, Guildford. Aroma of malts and apple cider. Gold. No head. Flat looking. A light but sharp bitter with sweet highlights. Acidic fruit. Sugary. Some hops and malts. Light bodied. Watery. Light carbonation. Low key finish. Pretty standard gold but at least it has a bit of bite to it.

Bottle at Bill’s on my quest for Harvey’s domination.... It pours clear golden with a small, bubbly white head. The nose is clean, toasty pale grain, soft fruits, apple and a touch of stewed orange. The taste is pretty tame...clean, slightly watery, mild bitterness, toasted grain, dry grass, earth, citrus peel and not a whole lot else. Is sort of dry on the finish. Light body and average carbonation. Another one of the poor bottled offerings from Harvey’s.

Bottle split at JF’s, cheers James for this Harveys whale, 23/08/13. Clear pale golden with a thin off white covering. Nose is light yeast, citrus, toasted malts, cereals. Taste comprises grass, citrus fruit, apple skins, toasted malts, earthy. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish with a little bitterness. Ok GB affair - not one I’d bother revisiting though ... whelmed!
