Can, shared with Hrabren and Prof. Bekić. from the Austria-Czech Repubilic border store, hey, ticks are ticks. Clear golden body, white head, okay retention. Pungent industrial herbal, malty and minerally notes in the aroma. Rough minerally, herbal, bit syrupy industrial maltiness in the taste. It is what it is, but at least it's bitter.

From a keg at a lake near the France/Germany border where we had to stop early to get the kids some food. Served with BBQ chicken and sausage. This beer was great for 82 degree weather, the kids playing in a lake….and all of it being spontaneous because they were hungry. No towns within a few miles. So fun to watch the kids swim as we ended our summer in Europe! Score reflects the joy of this random stop!

Glas van tap gedronken tijdens familieda in Utrecht. Goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag dat snel weg trekt. Aroma is moutig. De smaak is moutig, waterig en bitter. Nasmaak is iets bitter maar snel weg. Voor mij smaakt het als een 'vakantiebier.

0.5 l can from local 'Metro' at 4.7% abv, best before November 2021. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, a bit grassy-spicy, minimally floral aroma of grains and light straw. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, minimally grassy-spicy taste of grains and some straw, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly grassy-spicy finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Average Pils, way better than expected, especially considering the price.

31-10-19 // 500ml bottle from a Kiosk in Mainz. Felsgold is a Metro brand and local macros fill their beers for Metro. So this beer is brewed in different regions with slightly different recipes but basically a multiple alias probably. Taste is okay. A solid cheap pilsener.
