High Wycombe House Warming. Almost clear deep amber beer, thin pale tan head. Light palate, semi dry and finely crisp. A very light touch of Flemish red sour fruits. Oaky sweetness. More light fruits and then a touch of Coca Cola. Not too sour and hides the abv well.

Bottle shared at the hi wy cum. Tasting, 5/11/2016. Many thanks to Kenny for this one. A amber nut brown coloured pour with a a loose off white head. Aroma is spicy cinnamon, nutmeg, nutty toasted malts, liquorice. Flavour is composed semi sweet tangy sour, nutty malts, toasted malts, musty sour. Plalate is sweet and sour. Moderate carbonation, Not bad.

Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours deep red - brown with a minimal head. The aroma is soft, sweet, juicy, berry action, jammy, fruit pie, tangy, some red wine vinegar, vanilla and wood. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, tangy, sort of sweet, jammy, fruity, red wine, vinous, light vanilla, cherry cola with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Nice fruity sour. Drinks easy.

Bottle shared In High Wycombe - thanks to Kenny. Pours clear brown with a creamy, off-white head. The nose holds tart berries, leather, wood. Light sweet flavour with jammy, ripe and leathery berries, moderate acidity, some bread. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Finishes with more tart, leathery berries, suggestions of toffee, earth, mellow acidity. Enjoyable sour.

Bottle at The High WyCum tasting, Chez Bois, thanks to Kenny 05/11/16. Dark mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is pissy dark fruits, wood must, toffee, spice, earthy, musty, oak. Taste comprises tarte berry fruit, wood must, funk, tangy dark fruits, spice, wood must. Medium bodied, fine carbonaion, semi drying close with a light acidic rise. Solid well balanced sour.

Capped 750 from Bine & Vine. Pours brown with a beige head. Aroma of red berry, leather and wood. Near full bodied. Flavor is lightly, lightly sour. Lots of red berry, some astringent wood notes, maybe even some really red cherry. This is so mildly sour it can be quaffed in quantity without a mouth wrench. It’s not really dry, and it’s far from bitter. It is incredibly delicious. It likely should go with Sacher Torte, but I’ll be pairing it with CostCo mac and cheese. Ah well. To be in Vienna at the Hotel Sacher. Ah well, lightning can strike twice. Ah well. Gee. This ale is making my brain go all nostalgic/weird. Damn, but it is good stuff. Get it!!!!!!!!

Tap at Fresh Craft. Dark brown with red tints and lace. Nose of cherry, vanilla, yogurt, a touch of vinegar. Rodenbach-like. Very malts flavor, caramel, chocolate, cherry, vanilla. Full and rich, very nice balance. Finish a touch rough. Big malt. Good stuff.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a very dark brown color with faint red highlights and a medium sized foamy beige head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was soy sauce, vinegar and red wine. The flavor was toasty malts, soy sauce, red wine and was a bit sour with a boozy note. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied and smooth. Decent.
