Keg at Cobbett's, Dorking. Aroma combined hay, light pine and hints of stone fruit. Clearly golden. Thin bubbly translucent white head mainly sticks to the rim. A hint of bitterness envelopes in sweet fruit. The bitterness then gains strength into the finish alongside a sour streak. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Fine. Not actually finding it that interesting for a brewery I usually like.

On cask at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - lemon and general maltiness. Taste - lemon again. Something green and plant. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a decent finish. Overall - a bit challenging for a golden ale.

D Cask at the Sussex Ox. I’m not sure the beer was looked after correctly as it smelt horrid. The beer really stuck to the mouth with an intense bitterness. The after taste was unpleasant and the whole beer was of a bitter beer flavoured water. Disappointing but may be worth another try somewhere else.
