Cask @ Exmouth Arms, Clerkenwell, medium sample. Slight hazy yellow color, short frothy head. Aroma is funky grainy wheat, urinal cake, lemon. Bit nasty bitterness in taste, lemon, funky. Too weird for me, couldnt finish the pint.

Gravity cask at the St Neots ’Booze on the Ouse’ Beer Festival 2016. Light to mid-gold, clear, with a small amount of loose white head. Sharp tropical fruit citrus smell mixes with a bit of musty hop, ammonia and sulphur. Taste is punchy and bitter with a sweet fruity note rounding it off before the final dry bitter aftertaste. Not overly keen but it’s OK.

Cask at GBBF. Burning Sky Plateau 3.50% beautiful clear light gold with an eggshell white head of foam. Fantastic aroma of prickly hops that give floral & fruit notes with maybe a dash of cheesiness. Smooth soft body with a bracing minty dank bitter hop finish. Clean tasting sessionable hoppy beer - great.
