Inspired by classically tart and refreshing Berliner Weisse flavor profile, RedBud is light and lemony with a crisp acidity. It is brewed with a lactic culture to create the classic sour-citrusy lemon flavor and finished with high carbonation. Founders Rob and Amy Cartwright say the inspiration for the name came from the popular local swimming hole, Red Bud Isle, which similarly provides much-needed refreshing relief during the long hot Texas summers.

Can (thanks to blutt59). Lactic lemongrass, biscuit malt, and straw aroma. Yellow with moderate head. Mild sweet-tart lemon, biscuit malt, sour milk, and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Nice body. Tasty.

Can in trade from blutt59, thanks for the opportunity! Brilliantly clear deep yellow with a good sized pillowy white head that persists. Orange, tangerine, lemon with a hint of light starch. Pretty tasty Berliner!

On tap at Hughies. Pours a cloudy yellow with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is lemon zest and dough. Medium mouth, lemon tart, dough, crisp and crushable.
