Draft, at Rattle ’N’ Hum, NYC on 24th July 2011. Gold with white ring-and-film head giving a little lacing. Pungent earthy aroma, Orval-like hoppiness and spiciness in main kick; dryish finish and light mouthfeel.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Poured a clear gold with a white head that lasted throughout the beer and laced slightly. Aroma had a good amount of spice joined by citrus and a backing sweet grain note. Flavor started with citrus which was joined by spice and had a hint of sweet grains.

Draught. Mild malty aroma. Seems amber in the coloured glass. Stable plasticky white head. The flavour is malty with a good sweetish grapefruity note. A good APA.

Tap at Fette Sau. Shared a gallon with friends. (Yeah, at Fette Sau you can buy beer by the gallon on site.) Pours a faintly cloudy, glowing gold with a thick, soft white head. Wonderful Belgian aroma with notes of sweet fruits, white grapes perhaps, and candy sugar. Flavor is quite sweet with light cereal maltiness and subtle fruit notes. There is a decent hoppy kick as well, which helps to balance things out. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a smooth texture. Finishes sweet with lingering Belgian flavors. Really good.

Location: Draft at Rattle 'N' Hum, 7/25/10
Aroma: The nose is almost a hefe-like, plus some fruits, spice, and malty notes
Appearance: A clear golden yellow pour with a white head a top it
Flavor: The taste is quite clean and yeasty with a nice fruity feel as well, and a good spice presence
Palate: It is fairly crisp on the mouth with a light, clean feel to it
Overall Impression: I'm actually pretty surprised I've never rated this one before, but it is pretty good stuff. Very clean and easy to drink. It works nicely.

Pours a wonderful goldne color. tastes fruity, with some yeast, slight hops, and not very bitter. heavier than standard light beer with plenty of flavor. This is my wife’s go to beer when we’re at local restaurants serving craft beer and I quite enjoy it as well.

Really nice Belgian ale, very easy to drink, not too yeasty but with enough hop bitterness to balance the malt aftertaste. very enjoyable.

Pours an unsurprising golden color with a nice, but ephemeral head. Lots of different fruits in the aroma. Bunch of maltiness makes this a little heavier than your average Belgian ale.Fruity taste and somewhat tart as well. Some Belgian style hoppiness to tie in all together.

Growler courtesy of sebletitje. Pours deep gold with slight haze and bright white head. The aroma is cider like with layers of spice, yeast, honey and candi sugar. The taste is sweet with malt and candi sugar followed by apple and yeasty spice. It seems a bit bright but refreshing and ends with a sense of bubble gum and banana.
