On tap at Brouwerij de Prael, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a rather obscured Belgian yeast character, with earthy notes, and gentle candied sugar. Flavour is quite muffled, with lots of earthiness, Belgian yeast, light esters, moderate bitterness, and a touch of candied sugar. The finish is characterized by earthiness and bitterness. Not a great execution of the style, but it's not bad.

75 cl bottle, best until 12-04.Like Hunsell and jbrus say: no head, no lace, so something must have gone wrong. Very vinous aroma with more than hints of apple, vinegar and cellary. Almost a vinous flavor, very soft. Amontillado sherry. Full bodied, peach, some remaining hops. A touch of cork. There is some complexity in this beer, so the rating isnt too low, in spite of the obvious mistakes in the brewing and bottling process. (7 2 7 2 12 = 3.0) Bottle, tasted feb 2014. Golden color, hazy. Malt, floral notes and honey in the aroma. Malty sweet honeyish flavor with citrus and floral notes. Some bitterness and alcohol in the aftertaste Tap, Arendsnest. Coreander and a hint of traubenzucker in the aroma. Some flowery hopbitterness challenged by coreander. Spicy bitter aftertaste. 6 3 6 2 12 = 2.9 The rating is a weighed average.

Color: Little bit hazy red/orangish golden. Very thin head. Taste: Wheat, pretty sweet, sugars, hints of honey, licorice and some orange notes. Moderate carbonation. Absolutely not my kind of beer, too sticky sweet.
