Bottle thanks to Nihtila. Appearance - golden with a thinner head than expected. Nose - herbal and dried lemon peel. Taste - honey and banana. Dried lemon. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish Overall - good but underwhelming for the style.

Sampled from tap at the brewpub. Hazy, golden amber with a white head. Sweetish, spicy and a little fruity aroma of caramel, honey, peach and clove. Sweetish, quite spicy and a little fruity taste of caramel, honey, vanilla, peach and clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter, yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice!

Tap at de Prael. Golden with white head. Sweet malt, yeast, yogurt with sugar. Too sweet for a tripel. Backlog from 2015/02/22. At Rens’. Bottle shared by Rens. Banana yeast and cloves. From tap at De Prael while waiting for Tim Webb’s lecture for Carnivale Brettanomyces. Thick, regular, moussy, snow white head over a hazy peach blonde beer. Aroma of apricot, soapy hops, flowers, baked banana, bread, pineapple, baker’s yeast, caramel and fried eggs. Fruity, light estery taste, peachy, sweetish, dried orange peel, touch banana, bready yeastiness, medium long and drying, leafy hop bitterish finish. Quite a nice tripel.
