Keg at the brewery during the Lervig Tap takeover. 25/04/2015. Golden / pale yellow coloured pour, clear with a thin white head. Aroma is slight biscuity base malts, spicy hop, nobel, tangerine. Flavour is grainy, light biscuity grains, spicy tangerine, nobel hop. Palate is crisp, medium, highish carbonation, refreshing. Lingering grassy earthy hop bitterness. Decent.

Bottle @ home. Clear orange golden color, medium to full sized white head. Aroma is malts, very fruity, grapefruit, hops. Taste malts, hops, fruit hops, firm bitterness. Decent body, a bit firm carbonation. Nice beer.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Beermerchants. Pours clear gold, effervescent, with a fluffy white head. Simple, clean pale malt nose with touches of dry grain, tangerine, lemon and orange rind. Light-medium sweet flavor with some grassy bitterness, simple pale malt sugars, semi-dry citrus notes. Light bodied with average carbonation. Simple and pretty well balanced on the finish, with restrained citrus hop character, some grassy bitterness, faint pine needles, dry pale malts. Very safe but also quite drinkable.

Can from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with a huge white head. Very low carbonation. Aroma of soft malts and orange. Flavour of peaches and cream. Thin body with an oily mouthfeel. Light fizz. Well balanced and easy drinking.

Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Hazy, lumpy amber. Film of white head. Aroma is on the minerally, pithy side of hoppage. Touch of herb or flora, maybe. Drinks light bitter. Some mineral dryness. Fairly crisp. Easy drinking, albeit a bit bland.

Keg at the Beavertown tap takeover, 25/04/15. Clear golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is juicy hops, straw, orange pith, light pine. Taste comprises tangerine, citric pith, light bread, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok APA.

Keg at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe. Amber with a thin white head. Pleasant hops on the nose - pine and grapefruit and mango. On tasting overly sweet toffee malt kicks in. The hops and malt together are frankly a bit peculiar. Just about held itself together but yeah, bit of a weird one. Certainly lacks the crispness you’d expect from the style.
