DDH version of Ever Clever. DDH with Simcoe, Mosaic, Motueka, & Centennial.
It’s the cleverest of the ever-ests. Your favorite banter-slinging, foxy DIPA now bursts with a wicked double dry hop that’ll keep your taste buds as nimble as your wits.
Tasting Notes: Bursting, foxy, intricate

Keg at BD7D - London. Pours unclear gold with a modest, creamy white topping. Ripening citrus in the nose, melon, ripe lemon. Medium sweetflavour with some gooey citrus, mild bitterness, hints of alcohol, bready pale malts. Medium to full bodied, somewhat chewy, with fine carbonation. Finishes with more bright citrus fruits, papaya, white grape, a little bitter rind. Nice stuff.

Thanks Stephen for the can! Poured into a snifter showing turbid lightly whitish yellow with sparse white foam. The nose shows pronounced notes of guava and papaya. The palate is medium bodied and well carbonated. Pronounced papaya forward flavours on the front end warming into guava and a lightly sharp pine resin bitterness on the finish.

Modest drop-off from regular Ever Clever. Still has the lovely citric-tropical hops tinged with caramel sweetness, but the dry-hopping brings out a stronger black and green pepper spiciness that doesn't mesh well with the unexpectedly astringent finish. Some piney and clingy IBUs on the back end, along with copious notes of lemondrops, orange, pineapple, and dank weed, but the fade is boozy and raw, not altogether enjoyable. Pours hazy as hell with a slight white head and ample lacing. Nose hints at the outsized alcohol presence. Tasty, but not nearly as drinkable as the original.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a hazy gold with a finger of foam that lingers before dissipating. Lots of peach and mango in the nose. Juicy creamy milkshake texture. Fruit all the way throughout w/ a prickly bitter finish that lingers. The only thing that is off is the slight boozy finish. Almost fantastic. --- Beer merged from original tick of Ever Clever DDH on 22 Sep 2017 at 23:23 - Score: 8. Original review text: Orange on the nose with some dank notes and peach. Creamy and smooth. No bitterness at all, juicy mouthfeel. Mango, durian come out. Nice.
