This color is unbelievable. Never thought a beer could be so pink. It suits the name though. I was expecting the worst but it wasn’t a bad taste. The smell smoils it though. Try it and you’ll know why.

33cl bottle at The Berry, Walmer. Bad pink grapefruit and lemonade aroma. Not as bad as it smells in the mouth. Finish is artificial and nasty and false and not that good. Some kiddie sweet sweetness in mouth. Mostly nasty though. Don’t mind Belgian fruit beers, but this is poor.

Clear orange to amber coloured beer, white head, dissipates fast, leaves no lacing. Aroma: sweet malts, candi sugar, soft fruit candy (wine gums). MF: ok carbon, light to medium body. Taste: sweet, but not as sweet as expected. Fruit candy flavour, little malty, no bitterness though. If you would tell me this is peach flavoured "beer", I would believe it just as well. Aftertaste: more sugar and artificial fruit flavour. Lame attempt at trying to be cool. Lucky for us they brew better stuff than this!

Bottle shared by Butters at the 12th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering on 9/18/10. Pours a pink orange color, hazy, with a medium head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, chemicals, and grapefruit-scented urinal cake jello. The taste is dry grapefruit soda in the beginning that devolves into a sticky, overly sweet cloying finish and a bit of a chemical note. Grotesque.

From Butters @ 12th Richmond Gathering: Lime and pink grapefruit aroma, like bathroom cleaner. Hazy orange, light pink thin head. Flavor is artificial, slightly sweet lime and lavender. Grapefruit finish. Meh.

Sampler from bottle at Glunz Beer Expo, April 5. Yup, still clearing out last month’s notes here. Pinkish malt color, has a bit of foam that’s actually leaving some lace. cloudy. Not noticeably pink in the glass, I just saw it as it poured. Shows no bubbles. Smell has more of a grapefruit zest quality, I think. Almost perfumey. Taste is not sour, actually kind of flowery. Very interesting and different. May not be to everyone’s taste, as it could remind you of some shampoos. I get after-tones of Squirt soda, but with softer carbonation. Certainly the most different beer I’ve had here.
