Named after atom bomb test grounds, designed by a French car engineer - the bikini was to many a disturbing and degrading creation and fortunately for others a symbol of emancipation. This is attractively light bodied, seductively well balanced and very drinkable Sour Bikini is anything but a sissy beer.

Tap @43 hours of sour. Pours hazy pale golden, medium white head that dissipates slowly with decent lacing. Aroma is mostly Brett and citrus. Flavor has light funk, lemon, light pus tartness, dry overall with a bit of bitterness. Light bodied. Very nice for a 3%’er.

On draft at ChurchKey, DC, during Zwanze Day. Pours a hazy gold with an off white head. Aroma of oranges. Flavors of grapefruit and tart green apples. Slight tart and citrusy finish.

On tap at Avenue Pub. Pours a cloudy yellow with small off white head. The aroma is strong lemon, floral, wheat. Thin mouthfeel with strong tart lemon, light wheat, funk, sour finish. Really enjoyed this one.

Bottle. Pours yellow gold white head. Nose and taste of sour citrus, yuzu, lemon juice, grass and funky yeast. Light bodied. Awesome!

Bottle at home while on baby duty. Pours hazy orange yellow with soapy head and small lacing. Nose is bright acidic citrus. Tastes of lemons, lychee, green tea, hay, Brett, some wet wood. Very tart Pickering finish. Really light yet lovely beer
