Bottle. Chocolate malt and hay aroma with just a hint of bourbon. Dark brown with small head. Lightly sweet cocoa malt and light bourbon flavor. Woody aftertaste. Body a bit light. Much more subdued than the old BBC bourbon barrel stout.
