16oz bottle. Right on the edge of the best by date by holds up just fine. Brings you back to the days when Imperial Stouts were great. Rich malts, coffee, chocolate, balanced by a big hop bill. Rich and full bodied, but downright refreshing compared to what you get in the US in 2026 when you order an Imperial Stout. Delicious. I might have to buy another bottle or two.

Obvious BLACK pour. Thick brown head. WOw, lots of roasted malt, and chocolate in the aroma. Also some slight fruitiness. Very nice roasty flavour, lots of coffee, and chocolate. Nice bitter finish. Nothing special, nothing out of this world. Just a very well made imperial stout.

Bottle at home. Aroma is dark roasted malts, cocoa, lots of dark chocolate, coffee, espresso, with a subtle touch of hops. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is full and a bit creamy, quite smooth. Classic Imperial Stout, not very heavy but smooth and drinkable with lots of potent dark Stouty flavours.

Аромат жженого солода, крепкого кофе слегка кислого шоколада. Цвет темный как и положено, пена очень быстро падает. Немного неожиданно то что тело для данного стиля пиво слегка слабовато. Вкус чересчур горький, немного кислого черного шоколада при глотке. Послевкусие в принципе сладкое, но сильно ни ваниль ни карамель не ощущается. В целом данный имперец меня разочаровал.

Bière 50 cl trouvée au Vinmonopolet de Geilo. Robe sombre, très peu de carbonatation, texture épaisse, liquoreuse (dans sa texture au versage, pas au goût), pas de mousse. En bouche, malt torréfié, espresso et chocolat noir intense; bière onctueuse, équilibrée, très agréable.
