Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - Amber coloured pour with a small off white head. Sweet malty with notes of caramel, some prominent bretty notes chiming in, wooden accents, medium body, spiced notes into the lingering sweet malty finish.

22nd Oct 2018, Shrewsbury Beer Sharing Group meeting. 330ml bottle. Misty amber body, wispy head. Sweet thing with malty molasses ruling the nose and taste, couldn't hide the very alcoholic nature of the beast though. My sweet tooth liked it!

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie. Pours a misty orange, white head. Aroma brings strong sauterne wine, caramel. Taste is similar, good caramel, soft jammy fruits, fairly boozy and rich with a good alcohol kick rounding things off.

On tap @ What's Brewing 18. Pours hazy orange, with a creamy, off white head. Aroma is malty notes of grain, caramels and white sugar, as well as hops with orange marmalade, herbal notes, minerals and tropical notes with fruit pits. Full body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is hoppy notes of citrus with orange marmalade, tangerines and lime, as well as herbs and tropical notes of apricots and mangoes.

Tap at Salt Horse Bar. Pours almost clear shiny amber. Aroma is strong malt, vanilla, oak, herbs. Body is heavy and strong, lots of sugar, oak, a little booze. Lowish carbonation, not so much counterweight to the sweetness. Strong caramel, with an idea of cocoa. Lingering sweet herbal palate. All added features are too low to make it more than a normal BA barley life.
