Keg at IMBC 2018. It pours cloudy deep amber to brown with a small white head. The aroma is earthy, musty, funky, vinous, oak, vanilla, fruit cake, brioche, fruit cake and leather. The taste is dry, bitter, boozy, heavy sweet, cakey, fruit cake, spice, vinous, oily, candied fruits, boozy heat, funky, brett and leather with a drying finish. Full body and fine, closed carbonation. Big and punchy. Interesting stuff.

Bottle shared at a Columbus tasting 05/09/2018. Many thanks! A hazed amber orange coloured pour with a loose off white head. Aroma is vanilla, bretty funk, white wine grape, varnish. Flavour is composed of sweet, maltsy, nutty, paint, solvent, vanilla, musty white grape, musty funk. Palate is medium sweet, rounded, wood tannin.

Bottle split at Level 6, thanks to Tipple, 05/09/18. Hazed golden orange with a well presented off white head. Nose is tangy dark fruits, vanilla oak, toffee, sweet malts. Taste comprises fruit cake, orange peel, white wine barrel, vanilla, tarte fruits, caramel. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, gentle warming alcohol in the close. Decent sipper ... comes through at less than the stated ABV.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Tips. Pours lightly hazy orange with a small, creamy white head. Tasty, nice barrel character, dried berries, some caramel, toasted pale malts. Medium to full bodied, lightly oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, more jammy ripe berries, wood, soft tang. Fun stuff.

Level 6 bottleshare. Thanks to Tips. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth and slightly soft palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, slight savoury vibe, bretty. Light floral citrus. Smooth finish. Comes together well.
