A co-creation brew with the UK band Editors. Magnum hop, bitter chocolate, bergamot lemon.
Our collaboration brew with the British Indie rockers Editors! We had an awesome time with them talking about their music, our work at Beer Project, listening to their tunes while tasting our brews ...
Great humble band who shared much with us and came multiple times to the brewery to fine tune this Salvation - an earl grey infused porter - that matches their song.

21/XI/15 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) and one from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte) as I was betting on more than one horse, here. Didn't want to miss it. @ Grote-We-Wachten-Om-3u-'s-Nachts-Op-De-Pechverhelping-Omdat-Erwin-Zijn-Camionet-Niet-Wil-Starten-Tasting - BB: X/2017 (2015-1641)
Clear dark brown beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, bubble gum, bit artificial, candy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: roasted, bit sweet, fruity, tea indeed, metallic bitterness. Aftertaste: hoppy, bit sour, roasted, cola, spicy, bit peppery, coriander touch, some alcohol (which is weird at only 5.3% abv).

250 ml. draft @ the brewpub. A bit more expensive than the other beers at the bar, stupid Editors…. Black, solid mocha. Nose is herbal, lightly metallic, herbal metallic powdery coffee & cheap chocolate. Body is a bit oddly sparkling, rather thin herbal & metallic. Taste is sparkling herbal coffee, licorice, BE spices, cheap coffee, metallic, a bit too soapy. Too many lesser taste & not thick enough. Feels almost a bit like a lesser take of their Chove Chuva beer (same base), didn’t get the bergamot lemon sadly.

Draft @ BBP.
