Despite its low strength this ale is full of flavour and has character beyond its ABV. Medium golden amber in colour, it has a well balanced flavour enhanced with lots of English Goldings hops.
A great tasting session beer.

Cask @ The Marine, Sidmouth. Copper-amber with a small head. Well-balanced ale with a tasty mix of malt and hop with toffee notes that get heavier in its aroma. Some grain is evident.

(Cask at Angleterre, 20141021) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had malts and molasses. Palate was light bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were malts, earth, sweetness and bitterness. Afteraste was malty and bitter. A thin and harsh bitter.

Cask-conditioned at George’s Meeting House (JDW), Exeter 25/07/09. Amber coloured with next to no head. A malty west country session ale with some fruit and a decent bitter finish. Ok, but not particularly memorable.
