Bottle courtesy of Isobel picked up from Beer Revolution, Hay on Wye, Powys, Wales, consumed at home Monday 1st January 2018 whilst making Slow Cooked Ox Cheeks in Spicy Tomato Sauce and listening to Slint - Spiderland Pours dark brown with a slim off white head. Aroma suggests a little dark fruit, dark sugars and a little hops. Some hops in flavour with the aforementioned dark sugars and a a bit of caramel. I like this it had more than enough to keep me interested until the very last drop. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.7

Bottle from The Beerhive (2017) and can from Against The Grain (2024). Black body with ruby highlights and a medium beige head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of ash and blueberries. Flavour of plum, blueberries and coffee. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Quite hoppy for a Porter. Very tasty.
