2 bottles shared @ home with borresteijn, MarcodL & caesar. Batch#2 (30 cl, 8.8%) & batch#3 (33cl, 9.5%). Brown color, batch3 cloudy. Aroma’s: peaty, sweet malts (especially #2), tea, leaves, hops, some fruit, #3 going towards sour fruit. Flavor: moderate bitter, peat (#2), with a hint of sourness (#3). Medium bodied. Peat, slightly herbal and light bitter finish.

Bottle thanks to Potjebier, tried two different batches, small samples. Almost clear amber to copper color, short head. Aroma of grapefruit and pine, some peaty smoke, dark tea, bit spicy yeast. Quite dry in taste, peaty smoke, leafy bitterness, dark tea. Weird and seems to have some flaws, but still I would be able to finish a bottle with ease. Ok.

Sample from 30 (8.8%) and 33cl (9.5%) bottle, thanks for tonight’s beers Potje! Murky amber-brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of a hint of peat, earth, sweet malts, caramel, leafy hops, green tea. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, leafy bitter, tea, earth, liquorice root, light peat/fingerpaint, light floral, firm and raw bitter finish. 9.5% version was a bit more mellow and balanced imho.
