A frothy white head and a hazy pour, some citrus and grassy aromas. A strong malty backbone gives a biscuity vibe, perhaps even a little cereal! This is well balanced with a dry bitter quality and some herbal flavours. This reminds us of summer, crack a can whenever winter is getting you down.

BBE 31 Oct 2014 - Pours orange with a bubbly head. Aroma of earthy notes, grassy hops, crisp bready maltiness and floral notes. Taste is hoppy, malty and earthy with hints of grass and bready notes. Finish is malty, crisp and floral with hints of grassy hops. Okay, a bit more traditional golden ale.

Keg at Howl at the Moon. It pours golden amber with a thick white head. The nose is orange sherbet, tangerine, orange tango, dough, pine and light hay. The taste is crisp, bitter, resin, pithy orange, lemon, grapefruit, grass and minerals with a crisp, dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Eminently drinkable. Clean, crisp and refreshing. Great stuff.

Tap at Friends of Ham, Leeds. Hazy yellow. Thin, but tight, white head. Aroma is like toast and marmalade. (Or am I just hungry?). Dry, piny and oily. Nice beer.

Half pint, from the keg menu at the Hanging Bat. Opaque amber coloured body. Spotty lacing. Filmy layer. Fresh fruity aroma. Medium dry malt-fruity taste, pine, dusty hops and earthy malts. Nice bitter ending. Medium bodied. Pleasant brew (Edinburgh 09.08.2013).

Cask at the Euston Tap - London. Pours clear, deep gold with a slight, filmy white head. The aroma holds mostly jammy citrus fruits, some lightly toasted pale malts and pine needles. Light to medium sweet flavor with further jammy, semi-ripe citrus fruit, tangerine, orange, light spicy pine. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lightly sticky and resinous on the finish, plenty more jammy citrus character. The beer is a bit flat, unfortunately. Iām sure it would be a lot better in better condition.

On keg at the Three Tuns, Bristol 10/07/2013. Unfined. Hazy gold with a slick of a white head and moderate carbonation. Tropical fruit, a slightly yeasty edge, with some solid malts and a dryish, herbal finish. Good.
