A frothy white head and a hazy pour, some citrus and grassy aromas. A strong malty backbone gives a biscuity vibe, perhaps even a little cereal! This is well balanced with a dry bitter quality and some herbal flavours. This reminds us of summer, crack a can whenever winter is getting you down.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, grass, straw, hops and malt. Nice dry finish. Easy drinkable. Nice.

Bottle, 66cl. A hazy, pale golden beer with some microfloaties and a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is quite citrusy and piney, with the pale malts doing their supporting job in the back. The flavor has a little citrus peel touch, with pine cones and orange notes. Not so much malty sweetness, but some is present. It’s quite dry on the palate, medium bodied and with a tad too much carbonation. Lasting bitter and citrusy finish. Pretty nice and tasteful this one, but a tad boring, sort of. 140301

Cask, gravity at Derby, Roundhouse, NWAF, Saturday 22nd February 2014 in company of Loz, dad and Pauline. Hazy yellow with thin white rim furry, hoppy really quite lovely, no looker admittedly but really good. Sweet initially but very well balanced and far too suppable (dangerous) I returned to this again as others were fast running out. A7 A3 T7 P4 Ov15 3.7

660ml bottle. Hazy, yellowish, pale golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma, hints of lemon and grapefruit. Taste is initially minimally strawy and moderately bitter hoppy, later juicy citrusy fruity, notes of lemon, lemon zest, biscuity malt basis, orange zest; lasting, crisp bitter hoppy finish. Excellent development of taste, superbly refreshing, highly drinkable.

Very hazy gold beer with a small white head. Palate starts smooth and has a minerally crisp trailing edge. Medium malt, light grain. Reasonable hops - orange peel and ripe orange. Grapefruit pith. Smooth finish with a peel bitter linger. Fairly well balanced and decent.

Cask at the Birmingham Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is strong malt citrus caramel a hint of barnyard with some spice and liqourice too. The flavour is medium bitter with a medium bodied palate and low carbonation. This beer really knocked me over. Amazing. So many great flavours and I would easily drink this all night long.
