Biere De Garde aged in oak casks with raspberries. Dry sour and funky but the raspberry is still very much present. If you like a puckering sour this is the beer for you.

Bottle. Light hazy reddish pink liquid with small light pink head. Aroma of raspberries, lemon, light vinegar, wood, light red currant and mineral. Taste is dry and medium sour with notes of raspberries, lemon and light wood. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Solid.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear light amber red with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of raspberries that are slightly tart and a touch of oak underlying. Flavor has has really nice tart raspberries throughout with a growing acid note and oak in the finish.

Waxed 500 shared by Marcus. Pours translucent raspberry color with no head. Aroma is raspberry with some wood. Med body or so. Flavor is raspberry, raspberry seed and wood. Hard to say it’s oak. Very low key, but definitey berry sour. Delicious.

Refrigerated brown bottle from clowoisseur poured into a glass. Nice translucent red with very little head. Aroma is light raspberry, medium/light body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is raspberry and some wood.

Draft at HopCat, East Lansing. Medium-dark red body, thin off-white head. Sharp, sweet, and tart raspberry nose. Cobwebby, funky body with wispy sugars, light sweetness, and firm tart raspberry bite. Dusty. Light, crisp, earthy, and biting. Very nice beer. These guys nail sours.
