In total, just over 40 hl were produced, with lambic from March 2014. One third of the production was exported to the United States, the rest was distributed elsewhere. The last time Oude Kriek from De Troch brewery was made was somewhere in the eighties of the 20th century.

Bottle. A- Cherry, funky, faintly floral. A- Ruby color, opaque liquid, fizzy off white head. T- Cherry, funky, slightly herbal, tart, mildly acidic. P- Light body, average texture, high carbonation, funky finish. O- Not too sweet and a bit sharp on the tongue at times. Had a lingering wet wood aspect. Really quite note overall. 2014 on the label.

Bottle picked up from Bierparadijs Maasen nr Utrecht, Netherlands and consumed at home Sunday 23rd January 2022 listening to Idles - Crawler and preparing a Pork Wellington and Loz has made Macaroni Cheese. Pours scarlet with a light pink head. Really sharp and sour, bitter cherries, some balsamic vinegar, nice nose, cherry but a little dusty touch. Wow this is super tart, but good.

375ml bottle bottle shared at the Spring DC tasting. Poured a dark kind of purple juicebox purple with a small head. Aroma was sweet candy, raspberries, with funky cherries. Slightly acidic, but more tart than anything else. Funky.

375ml bottle pours a clear purple with a ring of pink head. Nose has some candy, grapefruit, raspberry, cherry. Flavor is less candy, cherry, a little raspberry pop. Finishes tart, medium high acid.

From a bottle. Pours a clear rose with a slight off white head. Aromas of indistinct pit fruits. Flavors are rusty and tart.

Quite sour and tangy. Cherry and a sense of raspberry. Ruby red pour. Tangy finish. Bottle finish.

Corked and crown capped bottle 12.7cl. US export version with Chapeau back label and a BB date 12/2020 so it should be a 2015 vintage althought it is not mentioned on the label. Deep cherry red colour, short fizzy head. Aroma strong cherry nose, sirupy, light wood. Full sweet and sour taste, krieken, yoghurt, vinegar, light wood in the background. Medium body, sticky texture, flat carbonation, lingering sweet and sour aftertate, sticky mouthfeel, yammie.

Odense twenty twenty winter pt 1 tasting. Deep red with a small white head. Aroma of fresh cherry with funk and wood. Dry and tart cherry flavour with a dusty cellar note.
