In total, just over 40 hl were produced, with lambic from March 2014. One third of the production was exported to the United States, the rest was distributed elsewhere. The last time Oude Kriek from De Troch brewery was made was somewhere in the eighties of the 20th century.

375ml bottle. 2014 vintage. Smooth, slightly tart and sourish with some cherry juice, sweetness and funky farmyard cellary notes. Pretty good.

Bottle, thanks Will. Aroma is loads of cherry, marzipan, almond, and dirty earthiness. Taste is good but maybe lacking something, nice fruitiness, cherry, bit of wood, nicely spritzy and bit teeth coating. Bit of armpit.

Corked bottle. 2014. Purple red color. Cherry, vanilla and marzipan in the aroma. Sour fruity sweetish flavor. The sweetness only from the cherries. Marzipan, cherry pits, almonds, vanilla. Low on carbon. This one is so delicious!

Vintage 2014. Lambic idealny, pachnie i smakuje tak jak potrzeba, smaczne,octowe, winne, vinegre do salaty, nieco pestka w smaku i kompot wisniowy, oczywiscie nie slodzony. Prawdziwy Hardcore dla pewnych pan dolewajacych do lagera soku... i nawet wisniowego.

Aroma had plenty of cherries, almond, Brett, hay, oak and a touch of marzipan. Over the palate came sour cherries, almonds, oak, Brett and lacto. Finished sour.

Bottle. Pours a garnet red with no head. Aromas of cherries and wheaty malts. Flavors of clean sharp cherries. Juicy not too tart.
