Mørk brun tåkete med høyt kremete beige skum. Lukter mørke frukter og lett brent karamell. Lite smak, lett søtlig. Mye kullsyre.

33 cl bottle from order by the bottle segment, Systembolaget. Sampled on April 18, 2015. BB 150831.Mainly clear, the slightest bit hazy, copper oxide to pale brown color. Big fluffy lasting yellow to teal head that leaves plenty of lacing on the glass when it slowly settles.Very mellow scent, goes a bit towards sugared sweetened cream, hints of malt, a slight wiff of caramel that might be butterscotch, but on a very low level, some weak fruit esters. Mainly bitter taste that finishes rather bitter and dry on the tongue, some malt as well, not much happening.Medium mouthfeel, fairly low on the CO2. Medium to medium low bitterness. Husky, grainy, bitter aftertaste.Indistinct, don’t stick out, not a whole lot of character, likely rather forgettable. Not bad really, just not much happening either. The husky harsh like bitterness is lowering the score some, would be more drinkable/enjoyable for me without that part.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy ambrt, huge head. Leafy hops spew out resin already in the aroma. Dry with light body and clean mouthfeel. Ashy, leafy and resinous with some toast. Aggressive and edgy with really bitter finish. If the intention is to create a somewhat uncomfortable, taste bud distorting aggressive ale - this is a success. It still lacks power and charisma though.

Bottle, enjoyed while seeing Marduk blast through Panzer Division Marduk. Hazy, murky deep amber liquid with huuuge white head. Aroma of bananas, red berries, toffee, plastic and light citric hops. Really estery and a bit phenolic. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of bananas and toffee. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Probably fermented way too warm. Not elegant at all. Try again.
