Brown bottle, 750 ml, gift from Louise (merci!), savoured on July 27 2013; eye: maroon, semi-opaque, nice beige head, nice effervescence, light lacing; nose: toffee, maple, malt, maple extract, slight burnt, vanilla extract; mouth: toffee, maple extract, malt, alcohol, slight burnt, slight alcohol, vanilla extract, finale in maple extract with presence of acridness, medium-full body, quite sweet, cloying texture; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, 750 ml, cadeau de Louise (merci!), savourée le 27 juillet 2013; œil : marron, semi-opaque, belle mousse beige, bonne effervescence, légère dentelle; nez : toffee, érable, malt, extrait d’érable, très léger brûlé, extrait de vanille; bouche : toffee, extrait d’érable, malt, alcool, très léger brûlé, très léger alcool, extrait de vanille, finale en extrait d’érable avec présence d’âcreté, corps moyen-corsé, pas mal sucrée, texture toquante; en résumé : correct

Pours clear orange with ok head and lacing. Very heavy on maple. Syrupy texture. Aside from maple, aroma has some malt and lots of booze. Very sweet finish. Tap at Session.
