With impact as the watchword, we created this American-style DIPA with big bitter flavours, solid maltiness and plenty of hoppy aroma from an excess of Simcoe and Amarillo hops. A lot of experimenting went into balancing this brew’s rowdy components, just to give you the most pleasant whack on the chin you’ve ever had. Like all our beers, Meteorite vs. Earth is hand-made, bottle-conditioned and unfiltered to ensure the truest and most genuine flavour. This DIPA is best served fresh in a snifter. Bottle at Beer Hunters. Hazy amber color, good creamy off-white head. Aroma has sweet bun, light grassy citrus notes - unclean. Medium-bodied. Citrus, sweet bun, caramel and yeast in the flavor. Sticky aggressive bitterness in the aftertaste. Leaves quite unclean feeling.

Appearance: Cloudy dark golden color with a nice thick creamy off white head. Good lacing.
Aroma: Grapefruit hoppy and fruity.
Palate: Medium + body. Tad sweet and a rich bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Grapefruit hoppy and tropical fruity. A bit too sweet malty back. Mild butterscotch.
Overall impression: Tasty powerful sipper.

Bottled at NK Ölbar, Stockholm. Clear amber, rich head. Grapefruit peels and light butterscotch up front. Mid sweet, full body, well rounded mouthfeel. Orange liqueur, resinous pine needles, caramel. Plenty of alcohol in a finish with long, but not overpowering bitterness. Never liked caramelly DIPAs, and here there is not sufficient hop aromas to counterbalance it.
