Denna fjärde variant av Oxymoron Black IPA kombinerar maltnoter av kaffe, lakrits och choklad med tropiska citrustoner från amerikansk humle. Havre ger en mjuk munkänsla, liksom råg, vilken även bidrar med viss kryddighet. Humlesorterna Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial, Citra, Columbus och Simcoe bidrar med en mix av tropisk frukt, citrus, barrväxter och örter. Efterjäst på flaska.

Botle from Systembolaget. Black with a medium tan head. Aroma of cirus, grapefruit, coffee, and chocolate. Similar taste. Also notes of alcohol. Bitter and with a medium mouthfeel. An ok one.

Appearance: Pitch black color with a fluffy big beige head. Nice lacing.
Aroma: Dark malt, licorice and grapefruit hop pellets.
Palate: Medium to full body. Tad sweet and a rich bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Licorice, coffee, fruity, grapefruit hoppy and dark malty background.
Overall impression: Powerful, but probably to fresh. To much hop pellets in the aroma and flavor.
