Schysst IPA is an India Pale Ale in full american westcoast style, that is to say that the beer has a clear focus on its hop profile with a little lighter and brighter malt base.
For this beer, we have chosen to use the three varieties of hops; American Citra and Australian Galaxy, which gives the beer a floral tropical fruitiness, and U.S. Chinook that adds a little spicier hop base.
You could say we went "ALL IN" in the amount of hops in this beer.
Schysst IPA has a bitterness of 65 IBU and an alcohol content of 6.3% by volume. OG 14.3 Plato. FG 2.7 Plato.

Tap @ pikkulintu. Hazy golden, thick white head. Tropical fruity aroma, catpee, pineapples. Flavor has oranges, pineapple, citrus/lime notes, grape. Really hoppy beer, but quite thin. Bitter, long fruity finish. Needs

Hazy yellow color small steady white head. Fruity aroma, some citrus and flowery notes. Medium-bodied. Fruity, citrus, resin in the finish. Drinkable, fruity IPA.

Draught @ Gastropuben KICK Malt & Mat, Kristiansand Pours slightly hazy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, orange and peach. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long caramel and peachy finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Kick. It’s an unclear orange coloured beer with a small, dense off-white head. The aroma is mostly orangey and piney, with some malty notes in the back. Quite bitter flavor, with some sweetness to support the pine cones and citrus peel. Full body and a pleasant carbonation. Bitter finish. A quite interesting one, but sure drinkable. 131121

On tap at Kick. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, tropical fruits, citrus. Flavour is fruit, malt, hop, tropical fruits, citrus, grapefruit. Easy drinkable nice beer.

Draft. An unclear golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits and hops, as well as lighter notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and lemons, leading to a bitter finish.

From tap at Hamnmästeren. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is juicy peachy. Herbal, solid grapefruity, light pine and peachy smooth towards the finish. Lingering fruity and smooth into the far finish.

Cloudy golden color with large head. Fruity aroma, citrusy and tropical. Dry mouthfeel, fruity, mango and fox grape; correctly strong bitterness. Lovely.

Aroma is rather nice and hoppy with exotic fruits – especially pineapple. Also some caramel. Flavour is hoppy with minerals, pineapple, caramel and exotic fruits. Foamy and sticky palate. Nice, although the mineral notes try to ruin the show.
