Bottled. Deep brown colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is fruity, some raisin, mild cocoa, roasted malts, alcohol and somewhat tart tones too. Flavour is chocolate, some mango, sugary, wooden tones with mild syrup and some tart tones too. Quite longlasting alcohol sweetness in the finish too.

Bottle, thanks Jonno. Aroma is whisky barrel, roast, dark fruit. Taste is interesting, roast, booze, dark fruit. Don't feel the booze, but doesn't give so much.

Pours brown, a bit yeasty and hazy because of that (I got the bottom of a bottle). Thin film forms on the beer after the pour. Aroma has some stingy alcohol, whisky barrel, some deep chocolate. Tobacco, strong alcohol. Burning. Nice and warm. Tobacco stays long, also there after initial kick. Body itself is lighter, maybe that explains that strong first sensation. Herbaliquor. Doesn’t carry itself as long as it could. Still good but hoped for a bit more.

Light brown color, big huge whisky nose with some milk chocolate. Very thin body, slight sour with tons of whiskey, with molasses, but honestly not too much depth. Not bad.

Taste: Malty, raisins, oak, vinous and fruity. Some alcohol.

Bottled, thanks baggio! Dark brown, minimal beige head. Port, coffee and raisins up front. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Honey and brandy, wood and caramel. Warming honeyish finish. I preferred the Australian version.

Bottle. An unclear, dark brown beer topped by a finger-thick beige head. The aroma has caramel, dark malts, some wood and a faint touch of islay. Dried fruits as well. There’s peat in the flavor, and a decent bitterness, as well as the caramel, dark malts and wood found in the aroma. It’s full-bodied and perhaps too warm on the palate. Pleasant carbonation. Peat, sweetness and dried fruits in the end. A really nice one, but I prefer the Australian edition. 130607
