Bottle. Opaque black liquid with medium to big tan head. Aroma of fresh hops, tangerine, coffee, licorice, pumpernickel and weed. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of licorice, chocolate, fresh hops and tangerine. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice but not as hoppy as I want my BIPAs. Still, balanced though.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Near black with rich, firm beige head. Distinct aroma of pear and gooseberry, with chocolate liqueur on a distance. Mid sweet with near full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate and some caramel from the malt, lots of bear and gooseberry from the hops. Warming finish with distinct, somewhat resiny bitterness. Intense, yet balanced modern style ale.

Sample at a tasting at Systembolaget, February 2013. Dark brown with a creamy, tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and nuts. Also with notes of citrus and licorice. About the same in the taste. Rather tasty.
