From tap at Inn Deep. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan to brown head. Aroma is roasted malty and smooth grapefruity to peachy hoppy. Solid hoppy, light liqourice and crisp hoppy, grapefruity and citrusy. Bitter and dry hoppy into the finish.

Draught @ The Red Lion. Pours slightly hazy black with a big frothy dark brown head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is tiny sweet, fruity and herbal with roasted malts, salty liquorice candy, pineapple hard candy, grapefruit juice, pine, wood and dark bread. Taste is bitter and herbal with roasted malt, grapefruit rinds, salty liquorice, orange peal, pine, dark roast coffee, resinous wood and moist soil. Mouthfeel is slightly rough, astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with roasted malts, salty liquorice, dark roast coffee, pine, wood and grapefruit rinds. Bit unbalanced.

Draught at VilleValla Pub. Opaque dark brown liquid with medium thick off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, grass, light roasted malt, biscuit and pine. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of tropical fruit, biscuit and pine. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. OK, but not as roasted as I like my BIPAs. Bitterness was too low as well.
