A rich, sweet stout with dark coffee added during the ageing stage of the beer. Hints of espresso, thick molasses, milk chocolate and jungles. OK, we lied about the jungles.

330ml bottle. Black colour with a small dark tan head. Aroma of coffee, sweet dark fruity malt, chocolate. Nice roasted coffee taste, some sweetness from the malt, bit of chocolate too, finish is quite bitter. Mouthfeel is a little thin. Nothing outstanding but a drinkable stout.

Bottle thanks to the brewer. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Espresso like. Nose - tonnes of coffee and milk chocolate. Taste - more coffee intermingled with milk chocolate. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - a decent stout. Coffee dominates but not overbearing.

Bottle at Craigs. Pours murky brown with a thin head. Aromas of dung, cow shit. As in semi-digested grass. Taste is earthy, dung. Sweet finish. Fucking awful.
