On tap. Pours a muddy and turbid yeasty looking hue. One of the ugliest beers I have ever seen. This was neither the first nor last pour from this keg and it all looked like thick yeast slurry. Aromas of strong apple esters, baby food (gurber’s), mild banana (not sure if it is isoamyl acetate or actual fruit), light brown sugar, lactic yogurt. Almost headache inducingly estery. Flavors are an unappealing mix of salty, exceptionally sharp fruity esters and unripe plantains. Mildly acidic, and extremely yeasty to boot. Lightly acidic and thin mouthfeel. This tastes like baby food. I know these guys make some good beers, but this is absolutely not one of them.

Draught at the Brewpub. Pale gold color. Nose of citrus, lactic yogurt. Salty sweet flavor, lemon, yogurt. Decent—crisp enough, though a bit too sweet.

Draught at Monkey Paw. Almost clear, pale yellow liquid with small white head. Aroma of banana, wheat, cereal, fruity yeast esters and some light salt. Taste is dry and light bitter with some saltiness and wheaty notes. Medium bodied with low carbonation. The combination of salt and banana doesn’t work too well for me actually...
