From bomber to glass. The sage takes over this beer and makes it hard to drink. Moderate low aspects of cookie malt. Clear amber-orange with full off-white head. Ended up dumping this one.

Flarra hos Biskopen Helsingborg. Mörkt rostfärgad . Doftar gammal källare ja en rätt tung men svag doft. Medelfyllig i munnen. Medelbeska. Smakar väldigt klassiskt rent Dipa. Eftersmak lite vatten faktiskt.. Nja en rätt trisst men ok Dipa. Testas ihop med All Inn Big blind . Åh härrejövlar vad god Big blind är. En svensk Dipa mycket bättre än en USA Dipa. !!!!!! Fantastiskt ju

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Rotem. Clear orange with a beige head. Aroma of juniper, a bit of sage, and stale hops. Sweetish flavor with malt, a bit of marmalade, juniper, soapy, stale hops, and strong bitterness. Medium-bodied.

Amber color with white head. Aroma of loads of resinous hops, sage, spices. Taste is resinous, spicy, the sage is there, warming bitter finish. Smooth carbonation, heavy mouthfeel. Very good!

12 oz. bottle, pours a fairly clear dark reddish amber with a medium beige head. Aroma is very spicy, with loads of sage upfront, followed by some juniper and woody resinous hops -- it's mostly spices on the nose though. Flavour is certainly unique for the style, bringing out the sage upfront, followed by woody resinous hops which bury the spices later on the finish. On paper, this sounds like a bad idea, and upon smelling it, it also seemed like it'd be pretty bad -- but this is actually quite nice. Balanced, hoppy and drinkable. Very good.

12 oz bottle purchased as a single at the Lodgepole general store in Sequoia National Park. The pour is clear golden dark copper with a one inch well formed light tan head. The aroma is caramel malt, sweet resin and pine hop. The taste is sap pine, sweet, almost honey with caramel toasted malt and some alcohol warmth in the back. Herbal menthol thing happening as it warmed. The palate is medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Dry bitter hot finish.

Bottle at Craft Beer Clerkenwell thanks to Ken, 09/03/13. Clear golden amber with a medium sized off white cap. Nose is hops, sugars, herbal qualities, spice rack, thyme, lemon. Taste comprises hops, pine, caramel malt, grapefruit, toffee. Full end of medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitterness and spice in the finish. Good stuff.
