Miltei musta olut vähäisellä ja nopeasti katoavalla tummanruskealla vaahdolla. Tuoksu on todella syvä. Siinä on tummaa salmiakkia varsin reilulla kädellä. Lisäksi tummaa suklaata ja aavistus espressoa sekä kiva häivähdys vaniljaa. Loistava kokonaisuus. Maku puolestaan on paahteisen kahvinen, kevyemmin salmiakkinen ja suolainen. Miellyttävä ja jännä makean ja suolaisen sekoitus, jossa paahteisen katkera jälkimaku on melko pitkäkestoinen. Täyteläinen suutuntuma ja humalointia melko runsaasti. Ihan kivassa tasapainossa.

Black colored, small tan head. Aroma of malt, some caramel, dark chocolate and roasted malt, some brown sugar. Taste is medium sweet brown sugar, bit caramel, chocolate and lots of roasted malt, light smoke, dry roasty finish, medium bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bit milky.

Tap at Watering Hole. Simple impy nose with the usual, bit of chocolate, roasted malt, espresso with some light soy sauce. Taste is more of the same. Roasty finish. Nice but not really that interesting.

Bottle at home. Very dark brown with nice tan head. Grainy aroma with some oaky vanilla, chocolate and light citrus. Taste is full of chocolate, some grain, little bit of liquorice, dark fruits. A little bit to the sweeter side without being really sweet. Dangerously easy to drink.

A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light dark fruits, molasses plums, licorice, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with molasses, dark fruits, vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice. Bottle at VIP Lounge Mondial 2016.

So the commercial deScription finally guided me to buy this beer... Let’s see whether it keeps its promise. Dark black with medium foamy brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate, roast, a little coffee and also a fresh hoppy fruity note. Taste is more chocolate, bitter and sweet. Also a bit of fresh sourness. Very well assembled. Full body and heavy mouthfeel. Overall a good Imperial Stout! A kick to the face? Maybe not quite, it’s too pleasant for that. But a bomb nonetheless.

33cl bottle from some corner shop in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin. Pours dark, dark brown with a beige head. Roasty aroma with chocolate, coffee, malt and hints of hops. Medium sweet with nice roasty flavours and a balanced bitterness. Tasty imperial stout!

Bottle home, 23rd April 16. Black and thick. Aroma is liquorice, chocolate, leather. Taste is liquorice, dark chocolate, leather, sweet malts, but good balance of bitter hops. Liked this
