Sa saveur est d’une très grande fraîcheur dans laquelle la coriandre joue efficacement son rôle désaltérant.
La dégustation se poursuit par un grand frisson dû à l’écorce d’orange séchée.

Bottle sample at Tripel, A’dam. Hazy yellow with a green hue, white head. Aroma of buttery wheat, coreander, some orange peel. Flavour is wheat, light-tart, butter, coreander, light tart-bitter finish. Light-bodied. Not great.

Sweet aroma with some orange. Flavour has a touch of spice and yeast together with some sweeter notes of banana and orange.

250ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Has a milky coconut texture rather than watery, with seemingly diluted Belgian yeasts. Definitely one of the lower quality wits out there.

Süßlich-milder Geruch, strohgelbe Farbe.

A slightly brown yellow beer with a medium, blond head. Aroma is fresh, lemon and orange, spicyness, coriander. Taste is light and wheat, spicyness, slightly musty, lemon, biscuity malts in the aftertaste. Light+, fresh and nice carbonation. Quite nice, but also light and unpersonal.

Sampled at Auberge Douceur Belges in Quebec City, September 2005. Poured a cloudy light golden-white colour with heavy carbonation. The head was white and when was gone, a creamy coat was left on top. Good lacing. Lots of honey and orange in the aroma. Very sweet, with some sourness in the background (like vinegar). Kind of watery mouthfeel. The taste had a grainy finish and a honey aftertaste. Quite light overall and not as refreshing as most white beers. Too much honey instead of the coriander.

Pours straw with a large fading head.Nose shows honey, faint wheat and soft leatherwood or something.Similar flavours, quite sweet with lots of honey notes. A bit lemonade-like.Could use more carbonation, body feels a bit watery. Not very traditional but not a bad beer.

Nice color for a white beer, kind of pale light yellow. Herbs in the smell, lavender or rosemary or something. In the taste as well which spoils it completely.

(bottle, 25cl, 5.0% abv) Cloudy, yellow colour with a short foamy white head. Yeasty and moderately sweet citrus-fruity aroma with zesty notes, a bit like English orange marmalade with wheaty notes and a tinge of coriander. Bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied with a lively carbonation. Citrus-fruity and wheaty taste, dry mouthfeel and finish with bitter fruity notes. Slim but refreshing. 09.I.11
