At Maakun’s, shared bottle. Clear gold with white head. Sweet malts, plastic, apricots, fruity and spiced, flowerij hops, dough and leather. Very sweet and moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied, oily, slick, some graininess in texture. Strange beer.

Bottle shared thanks to Sjogro. Clear golden with white head. Flowers up front with some grapefruit, coriander, cloves, cardboard, syrup, ras-el-hanout, honey, plastic, condensed milk, baby poop. Very strange aromas going on here. Medium sweet with lingering plastic bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. This is very strange, and not in a good way.

Erg zachte variant. Weinig in neus en nasmaak valt ook snel weg.

Kochsgade Friday afternoon tasting in November. Golden with a lasting white head. Malty and spicy/phenolic aroma with a grassy and earthy touch of hops. Sweet malty and fruity flavour with grassy hops and a good, bitter finish. Notable alcohol

31/X/15 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: 16/VI/16 (2015-1524)

Very happy to have found this in 33cl instead of 75. Means less beer down the drain. Clear dark blond almost orange beer, creamy irregular off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet, sugary, banana, bit fruity, metallic touch. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, banana, sugary, metallic, bit of citrus. Aftertaste: slightly bitter, sugary, some more banana, meh.

750 c&c from the Republique Monoprix. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma of fruit and floral with a little malt and yeast. Med body or so. Flavor is a bit unusual fruit/floral - not NZ hop - but different. Almost like red berry. Not bad - just not strongly flavored. Maybe light stone fruit and fruits de bois. It is very pleasant to drink.

yay, new leffe beers !!!! ( said no beer-loving person ever ) Pours clear, blonde. Ok white head. Smell is chemical ( what a surprise ) , sweet. Taste is chemical, sweet, soap. Perfumy-like , chemical fruityness. Poor, just like any leffe beer, both in quality and taste. Yet I have to admit, it IS way better than for instance the blonde. Almost drinkable this time !
