Bright clear amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, fairly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Light dry pale malts, not sweet. Spice and a touch of dried fruits. More spice. Dry finish. An exceedingly dull Leffe is this.

330ml bottle from Saveur-Biere.fr. Pours clear gold / amber, white head. Aroma is lightly fruity and yeasty with some hop presence. Taste is much the same, this Mapuche really struggling to make its mark felt. Some floral notes but on the whole it kinda falls a bit flat. Much prefer the original over any of these special editions.

Bouteille(75dl): Golden, clear, visible carbonation, loose ’n lacy off-white head; toasty-cellary nose, fruity aromas, too, some barely detectable bitterness in the background, no traces of "noble" hops; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and a bit tart; oranges and grains and traces of yeast in the bitter-sweet finish. At least drinkable…

33cl Bottle from Deka. Clear golden amber colour, white head. Aroma of fruity esters, banana, typical sweet Leffe, some grass and pine. Flavour is likewise, quite sweet, light fruity sourness, a bit acrid hoppiness, grass, pine. Light to medium bodied. OK -ish.

Clear golden colour. Aroma has some banana and candy sweetness. Quite bitter although there’s a touch of peachy sweetness in the background.
