From tap at Planet Oedipus β17. Aroma is heavy on the chocolate and roasted malt, wood, mild peat, with relatively subtle whisky and more big roasted notes. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is full. Lovely Whisky BA Stout with not too overwhelming barrel notes.

Bottle thanks to TomHendriksen, gift 2 years ago, saved all this time to share -as promised- with Inoven. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized though quickly diminishing mocha colored head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, a light sweetness and some berries surprisingly. Where's the peat? Flavor is malts, roasted malts and...oh here it is: insane peat and ash. You get used to it a little, fortunately, and it's quite nice when you do. Rather heavy malt bitter finish, lingering bitterness in the finish. Very solid although the level of peatyness is too much for me in general.

Pitch black colour. Aroma of peat, bread. Medium body, which means low-ish sugar; some dark chocolate, strong salinity, strong peat, it actually gets better as it gets much warmer.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Nose reveals lots of peated whiskey, a little soy sauce, and iodine. Flavour is mostly characterized by the peated whiskey upfront, followed by moderate roast, light soy sauce, and iodine. Very little residual sweetness, finishing peaty and smoky. Very nice stuff.

Bottled 30-06-17. Poured very chunky, bit of firm foam on a pitch black body. Peaty smell. Pretty creamy mouthfeel, but could maybe use some more thickness. Lots of peaty Bowmore, luckily the base is pretty heavy. Bitter, roasty, coffee and peat. Fun.

Bottle. Black. Malt, soft roast, dried fruit and hints of peat and whisky in the aroma. The Bowmore comes back heavier in the flavor. Malt, soft roast. Just below full bodied. Has thinned a bit bacause of the barrel aging. Nice one.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, licorice, mild smoke, leather, wood and whiskey. Pours pitch black color with thick creamy brown head, good lacing and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with rich roasted malt, not too sweet, following is more sourish with fruity, whiskey and leathery notes, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is pretty bitter. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. Heavenly petting...
