Sommer, Sonne, laue Nächte. Das Weiherer Summer Ale ist ein Bier für Tage wie diese.
In leuchtendem bernsteinfarben, mit starker Trübung und mit schneeweißem Schaum zeigt sich das Weiherer Summer Ale im Glas. In der Nase ganz sanfte Aromen von harziger Pinie und leichtem Karamell, im Geschmack erfrischend schlank, fruchtig-hopfig und mit feiner Bittere.
Gebraut mit 6 Hopfensorten sowie klassischem, Karamell- und Pale Ale Malz.

50cl bottle. A almost clear amber beer with a mid-sized good lasting off-white head. Aroma of citrus hops, pine, citrons. Taste of resinous hops, pine, citrus, moderate caramelish malt, long bitterness.

Von Fass @ Kundmueller. Bright, hazy orange-amber with a low head. Restrained nise, orange hops, minerals, bready malt. Nice Mandarina hop in the flavor, bready, biscuity malt, light caramel. Munich malt. A bit of chocolate. Pretty good German pa. Soft., light body.

Fles gedeeld door Benzai. Oranje kleurig bier met matig schuim. Weinig aroma. Bier heeft een boter smaak. Geen nasmaak.

Bottle @ home shared with Inoven. Unclear orange golden color, average to medium sized off-white head that lasts for a short while and leaves fair lacing. Aroma is lightly malts, lightly hops and unfortunately butter / dms. Tastes about the same: malts, some hops, butter, lightly bitter. Unfresh, unclean. Might be due to the store keeping them in a bad way though, hard to tell, but it wasn't nice anyway.

Euro-Fläschla: Deep golddn to light amber coloured, loose ’n lacy off-white head; moderate sweet-bitter flowery-citrussy to herbal hoppy nose with bready and toasty spots; pretty light bodied and pretty soft; moderate bitter-sweet flavour; lingering toasty and herbal-piney finish with a good dash of balancing malt. A goody, not only in summer...

Bottle 500ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Weiherer Summer Ale ].Light unclear medium orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, orange, dusty hops. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, flowers, orange, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 6 3 6 3 12 Draft at Proeflokaal ’t Kelkje, Amsterdam. Clear amber with an off white head. Aroma of yeast, floral hops, grain, toffee and malt. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Above light bodied with light to moderate carbonation.

(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a firm medium-sized and off-white foamy head. Herbal-spicy, slightly resiny and fruity hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, traces of caramel and hints of black tea. Mildly bitter-sweet and tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Delicately bready cara-malty base with herbal, citric and slightly resiny hops; bitter-sweet finish with a citric tart edge. Okay, but there are better Weiherer beers. 12.VII.17

bottle from the brewery. Ple golden with a tall white head. Malty with an immediate fruit explosion. Lovely flavours of tropcial fruit and citrus fruit on top of a very supportive malty base. Resiny touch in the finish. Very nice summer beer.

Rerate 25.5.24 Interessant, weil die Nase völlig anders ist, sehr hopfig, grasig. Immernoch recht leicht, bisschen Frucht, Getreide, hinten bitter. In der Wertung hoch genommen. 25.6.17 (2,2) Optisch dunkles Gold, gefiltert, wenig Perlung. In der Nase blumig, Karamell. Im Trunk crispy, bitter, dann leichte Frucht. Leicht wässrig.
