This pale ale is generously hopped yet balanced through the use of Munich and Crystal malts. Hops added after fermentation gives this American classic an intense aromatic bouquet.

Tap. Slightly hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is juicy fruits, some tropical fruits, spruce, crystal malts. Taste is the same. Oily mouthfeel, rather low carbonation. Not my thing.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 25 July 2017) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with orange peel, apricots and caramel. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, orange, caramel and a balanced floral bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Draft @ Beer Temple, 5 oz sample. Hazy golden color. Big white head. Aroma’s: very faint, not much at all actually. Retronasal there is a bit - light fruit, light earthy and bitter. Flavor is moderate bitter, but faint, also light sweetness. Light bodied. Finishes with light bitterness. Not sure whether this wasn’t fresh anymore or just meh.
