ABV: 5.3%. Clear light to medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, witbier yeast, clementine, mandarine. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, witbir yeast, clementine juice, mandarine, zesty, wheat. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20210709]

Bottle. Hazy gold with a large doming white head that lasts well. Aroma of mandarins (but not very sweet ones), crackers, lemon, spices. And so it tastes. Briefly refreshing. Decent for a Witbier.

La promesse de la clémentine était plutôt alléchante, d'autant qu'au nez celle-ci était perceptible au nez...avant de disparaître à la dégustation. Cela aurait pu donner une blanche tout de même sympathique mais un sucre trop présent la rend lourde en bouche, là où elle aurait dû être aérienne et avec du peps. Le résultat est donc loin d'être exceptionnel. Au programme donc, blé et froment, zest de clémentine et coriandre. En verre nous avons un joli blond doré limpide (EBC de 6) avec une mousse blanche nappant juste la surface. Le nez est appréciable avec citron, coriandre, clémentine, pomme et céréales (on retrouve entre autres bien spécifiquement le froment). A l'attaque, si on conserve une certaine fraîcheur avec une légère acidité, plus trace de la clémentine, avec des arômes moins fins qu'au nez. La deuxième bouche déçoit alors beaucoup, lourde, avec un manque de vivacité patent et un sucre trop présent. La corpulence en contrepartie est bonne. On retrouve une légère acidité salvatrice en arrière-bouche avec un cocktail citron, coriandre, céréales sans âme. Final qui retombe et qui laisse la douceur en bouche. L'alcool à 5,3 % est quant à lui honnête et fait mieux que sa consœur, l'amertume à 14 d'IBU, bien quelconque. Promesse non tenue.

BB 12/2022. small yellow hazy color, small white head. smells spices, earthy, leathery, yeasty, ripe fruits, marzipan, nice smell. medium body, soft carbonation. tastes earthy, grassy, bit leathery, peppery, spices, bit herbal, light ripe fruits, yeasty, light exotic fruits. finishes light to medium bitter with notes of yeast, citric and some grassy notes. nice one, enjoyable to drink.

Huge, very dense white head, disappearing over clear, lightly copperish golden beer. Citrus, certain green herb, coriander, and finally indeed clementine. Smells inviting, like a bio health care product. Coriander, fake and real citrus, clementine or other. Light body, wheatslickness; good lively carbonation, bit refreshing. Not much aftertaste. Not too much coriander, discernible real citrus = better than average.

Flaska från Belgiuminabox. Rejält disig ljusgul vätska med högt vitt skum. Frisk och fruktig med jäst, vete, mandarin i fin harmoni. Lätt zestig mandarinsskalsbeska som är lite oljig. Relativt klassisk tolkning av stilen. Gott

Citursy fruity aroma, notes of mandarine, mandarine peel, tangerine, some lemon, wheaty malty background with a touch of banana, weak coriander overtones. Taste is minimally sugary sweet, watery, citrusy fruity, hints of mandarine, tangerine. Thin, watery texture, prickly carbonation, slightly overcarbonated. So-so.
