33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ W. van Schaik, Vianen. Very dark brown to black with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts with some liquorice yeast and of course a nice dose of hops. Taste is medium bitter and the body is quite satisfying. Nice black IPA although I tend to like the more cleaner ones better.

Bottleshare at Matteo’s. Clear deep brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent carbonation. Smooth dark malts, rich dark chocolate and mild roast. Mild dark malt tang, Bourbon biscuits. Modest dark fruits. More smooth dark chocolate before a spicy finish. Nice dark chocolate beer but light on hops for a CDA.

33cl bottle @ home, kept in the fridge a bit longer than I would have wanted. Very dark pour. Dense light beige head with good retention. Aroma’s: drop, bay leaves, dark malts. Retronasal it’s bay leaves, pine/spruce, drop/zwartwit, some bitterness. Flavor is quite bitter with light (dark) malty sweetness. Medium bodied. Finish is dry, roasted and bitter. Nice one!
