Hazy amber with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with ripe fruitas, hops and caramel notes. Flavour is sweet andfull bodied with toasted malt, caramel and hoppy notes. Finished bitter with warming alcohol. Very good.

2007 Bottle from Kihoskh, Copenhagen. A lot of aromas! Wood, dill, hops etc. I expected a more full body, but even with its medium body it works. Oak taste is very present along with some flowery notes.

Bottle from VinensVerden, Odense. Pours lovely hazy orange with a creamy lasting white foam & lacings. Nose is wood, vanilla, hops& alcohol. Smooth & full bodied. Slick, sticky & oily. Vinous & warm. Lots of vanilla & oak. Sweet. Super complex & drinkable. Nice!

12 fl oz bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours clear and golden orange with a slowly diminishing white head. Wineous and fruity maty aroma. Flavour is sweet and vanilla with a distinct hoppy note coming through. Sweet malty and slight roasted malty into a smooth finish. Lingering sweet flavoured.

Batch 64 bottle. BEAUTIFUL bonus from kp. Thanks Keith! Reddish brown color with a medium head. Decent retention and specks of white lacing. Brown sugary aroma came across as having some Belgian notes when I first opened the bottle. Some spicy hops in the background. Taste is brown sugar, maple, oak, strong resiny hops. Thick feel.

2008 Bottle. Pours with a cloudy amber boody and a small, off-white head. Aroma is sweet and sharp with caramel, prunes, wood, tobbacco, vanilla and alcohol. Taste is hot but smooth with tobacco, caramel and wood. A really nice, strong beer. Would love a bottle to age for 2-3 years. Syrupy and mouthcoating, light bubbles.

Bottle: Bright golden pour with a little cloudiness. Aroma is fruity and citrusy. Bits of apricot. Flavor is sweet and fruity, rich and malty. What a creamy mouthful with a great balance and complexity. Another smooth HOTD brew. Thanks to Matt and the crew at the Co-Op for bringing this treat!

Bottle at Toms Glasgow tasting 2 ... Deep amber ... hops and musty fruit ... sweet caramel ... loads od alcohol ... lots of hops ... quite tart hoppy. quite rough Keg at the BeaverFest 2017 Friday.. Woody toffee caramel fruits nose. Juicy sweet sweets fruit 3.8
