Draught at the brewery. Thanks, Alan. Big oak/vanilla flavors. Fabulously smooth and slightly sour. Very nice, though maybe the oak was a bit overpowering.

Bottle shared by juiceisloose @ otakudenβs Vero Beach Throwdown. Pours cloudy caramel color with almost nonexistent head. Aromas of bread dough, vanilla and alcohol. Sweet caramel and dough flavors with some wood and vanilla. Slight alcohol burn. Medium to full body with soft carbonation and a sticky mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours a brownish gold with a massive head. Aromas are vaguely bready with a little tanginess to it. Flavor is a fruit bowl with pears, white grape juice and some oak. Flavor is very sweet and fruity as predicted by the nose.

(Bottle, 0.355 l, at Olutkellari Helsinki on 2009-06-01) Hazy and brown. Small white head. Hops, oak and whisky in aroma. Full bodied and dry palate with little carbonation. Wood, raisin, whisky, vanilla, apricots, fruitiness, sweetness, hops and bitterness in taste. Wood, malts and bitterness in aftertaste. The inital almost too strong wood aroma softens after a while.

Bottle from TheEpeeist, thanks! Orange color, pours a lively head. Huge maltaroma with nutmeg, figs, pipe tobacco and oak. Malty sweetish, alcoholic flavor with pepper, oak, pipe tobacco, Sauternes wine and dried fruit. Good complexity, though the oak reveals itself very strongly. Excellent!

Cloudy orange with explosive head. Aroma of orange and malt. Big malty taste, well balanced by a background light hoppy bitterness. Very mild spice. Subtle and complex.

Bottled, brought by NoiZe. Hazy orange color, short head. Aroma of hop, caramel malt, vanilla, wooden barrels, fruity. Malty and fruity taste, hint of whisky, vanilla, orange. The more I think about it, the more I taste in it. Very complex and very nice beer.
