Smell of hop. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of malt and hop, some herbs. Finishes with grain. Bitter with a mild sourness. Light body. Very balanced.

Draught @ Pikkulintu
Pours clear orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of grassy hops, bready maltiness, some hints of butter and citrus. Taste is smooth, extremely hoppy and bitter with hints of grass, butter and sweetness. Finish is hoppy, grassy and lingering bitter with some sweet buttery notes and bready maltiness. Tasty stuff, at least for hopheads like myself. Quite extreme Czech pils. Nom.

Pours light orange with a medium head. Aroma has notes of grassy hops and malts. Taste is very dry and bitter with notes of grass and fruits. Very bitter and dry finish. Nicely hopped and bitter pils.

Draught @ Pikkulintu Aroma is rather light and sweaty with some fruity tones. Flavour has butter, so me grassy notes and herbs. Feels quite czech. I used to like this more. Earlier Rating: 1/6/2012 Total Score: 3.7 Draught @ The brewpub, filtered version. Rated on 12.3.2014 Aroma is fruity with american hops. Some grass too. Flavour is rather hoppy with exotic fruits and grass. Some hay in the finish. Really hoppy pils. 6-3-6-3-14 = 3.2 Draught (6,2%) @ the brewpub. Rated on 13.04.2024 Aroma has buttery malt and fruity hops. Flavour has strong lingering grassy hoppiness, some grainy malt and mild butter. The grassy hop aromas take over the taste bouquet quite immediately like chili does for the taste of food. Hoppy and crisp but the hop profile here isn't really my thing. 7-3-5-3-11 = 3.0

Tap at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Colour is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Sweetness, hops, grain and malts. Very hoppy and enjoyable pils.

Draught at Villi Wäino. Poured a golden, dull body with a big white head. Sweet grainy nose mixing with slightly soapy fruitiness. The taste is strange and strangely fine, eggy maltiness, bitter hopiness, hard to define, not that hard to enjoy.

Draught@Pikkulintu. Known as "Pedolintu" among the Finnish beer connoisseurs. A bit hazy orange, steady white head, lots of lace. Very German - grassy, hayish aroma. Flavor is typical German too: very hayish hoppy. Finish is nicely grassy bitter with long aftertaste. The most German of all Plevna beers (although hops are Perle and Goldings). Solid, but doesn’t impress me with its one dimensional character.

Draught@Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, grass, some yeast and also mildly bready. Flavour is wood, yeast, mild notes of earth and also some lemon/citrusy fruits. A rather interesting and nice pils.

(Draught at Pikkulintu on 2008-10-09) Golden. Hazy. Medium sized quite dense white head. Grassy and fruity nose. Medium bodied dryish palate with lot of carbonation. Grass, bitterness, fruitiness and bit of sweetness in taste. Long bitter and still quite soft aftertaste.
