HOLY IPA est brassée dans le style American IPA à partir de malts Pilsner, Vienna, Cara et Wheat. Cette bière de dégustation est produite avec une quantité généreuse de houblons Chinook et Mosaic. Afin d’intensifier les notes aromatiques, HOLY IPA est infusée à froid (dry-hopping) avec des houblons Chinook et Mosaic. Cette bière d’inspiration américaine exprime un caractère houblonné original avec des notes complexes de fruits tropicaux. Holy IPA can version is brewed at the COHOP cooperative brewery.

Bottle shared. Clear amber with a ring off white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, peach , sweaty hops, slight cat piss, citrus and light malts. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from the Carrefour. Pours rather clear amberblonde. Small white head. Smell is intense, some stonefruit, somewhat tropical fruit as well. Nice ! Taste is very nicely malty, good bitterness ( not too much, but sufficient ) and hoparoma. it really has that Malts vs Hops i really like, and ( based on memory) this is the first one I had like this from Belgium. Good things happening !!! Body is very good, and carbo is perfect. One small point of negativity might be the intensity. Its intense - really nice for the ABV - All I mean is I would enjoy the imperial version of let’s say 9 % even more :)

Bottle from De Hopduvel. Hazy golde colour, white foam. Nose of tropical fruit. Bitter hoppy finish, bit soapy. Gentle IPA, no agressive hops. Well made.

Clear orange beer, big irregular yellowish head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: fruity, mango, caramel malts, more exotic fruits, passion fruit, lychee. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, peach, mango juice, pretty bitter, grapefruit. Aftertaste: sweet caramel malts, some tropical fruits. Pretty nice!

Bouteille 33cl. Couleur orangée/dorée, col fin crémeux blanc. Arôme est plaisant offrant un agréable bouquet aux effluves américaines, houblons type C rappelant le Chinook; agrumes - pamplemousse assez subtile qui tire légèrement vers le Colombus. Le grains reste présent sans être trop marqué avec un rétro de ’pop sickle’. Palais est légèrement malté, note cara pâle rappelant bien un caractère très européen. Pointe épicée sur la fin avec une petite rondeur du malt Vienna. Fini sec dont le côté houblonné fruité est très bien restitué, pas mal de notes fruitées centrées sur les agrumes. Une belle réussite, une version cannette?

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Dynamo. Clear golden, small white head. Nose is very weird yoghurt, weeds, elderflower (more vegetable way), milky yeast, light funk,… Taste is vegetable, plastic cheese, vegetable elderflower, milky yoghurt,.. Body is cheesy plastic. What is this? This one is lost on me, overly milky yeast, straight up spoiled yoghurt notes, vegetables, American cheese (hop – I supposes) notes. Definitely expected more from this one. It is a shame.
